I bought it for the motorcycle mainly as a windproof layer over the motorcycle jacket. Because for waterproof you have to buy expensive ones to get the job done. However, it doesn't even work as a windproof because although it kept me warm from cold and humidity in the cold weather, after 10-15 days the inner lining tore and the zipper is ready to break with the first pull you make. So whoever buys it should not force the zipper at all and should handle it with caution if they want to use it for at least one winter (because I don't see it lasting for a second). It was okay for light rain but I didn't risk using it in heavy rain even once.
