Everything that has been said is true, it is not very good for bathing with soaps, water, etc... It gets sticky, smells, and the bamboo breaks (it is unprotected from liquids...). I have seen it in a café as a disinfectant, what can I say maybe it is better for that use.

I have both the black and the white one. They are nice, although a bit bulky. In terms of quality, they are relatively okay. In the black one, the wooden ring broke without any pressure. However, the worst part is that even after 1.5 years and countless refills, the black one emits a terrible smell every time you open it to refill. I even washed it from the inside with chlorine. It still smells! The white one doesn't have such an issue! Now draw your own conclusion...
