Reading the reviews, I was expecting something better. It is quite heavy when ironing and easily tires the hand. Additionally, it does not iron as well as one would expect from a steam iron with this price range.
Update, I can say that after some uses, the plate burned more! Maybe I got used to it, but if you don't need an iron with a (very) long cord and not too heavy, it is excellent!

I bought it for my summer house, even though I have the same one in blue and it burned out in six months. This particular one is excellent. Lightweight, doesn't get stuck and doesn't waste water quickly. So far, I am very satisfied. I will come back in 6 months.

As others have said, over time it started leaking water and tripped my safety switch. I disassembled it, cleaned it, and fixed it. It lasted another year, but ultimately it's not worth the 70 euros. I was not satisfied at all from the first day. On the contrary, I bought the Rowerta Pro Master iron for 100 euros and honestly it's the complete opposite. It irons without even pressing the steam button and I don't exert any pressure. It's worth spending a little more.

I found out that it had collected a lot of lint inside the plate, which may have caused a short circuit. Also, when I opened it, there was a lot of lint on the thermostat magnet in the middle, which may be the reason why it stopped working one day. So, I conclude that the product is indeed the best value for money, but it lacks in terms of construction. For someone who irons frequently, it is almost certain that it will break before the 2-year mark due to the lint it accumulates inside. It should also be noted that the three-position selector on the top had broken in the first few months. 1 star because it broke and caused a leak relay. If it had just stopped working, I would have been more generous.

Having in my possession a Tefal iron with a boiler, it seems a bit fake to me. There is no comparison to the steam that this iron produces. Nevertheless, for a regular iron, it is good, it does its job. If you are "obsessed" with ironing, it is better to get something better. It is good for 2-3 shirts and 2-3 pants.

Additionally, the shine and whiteness it leaves on dark clothes are very unpleasant and ruin the garments.
I bought the iron based on the positive reviews. To be honest, I don't know if the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.. It has a very short cord and if you have to iron 2-3 loads of laundry, your hand will get tired due to its weight. During the second ironing, the plate got stuck, possibly from a label or synthetic fabric (I couldn't realize the high temperature early enough), and it doesn't come off at all... I was told to use a wax from the market to remove it.. It definitely glides well on fabrics, irons in half the time compared to regular steam irons, and produces a good amount of steam, although it leaves a "shine" on dark fabrics. Honestly, it's a 50-50 in terms of pros and cons.

You know what happened to the switch that went to steam and correspondingly to eco or you closed it from steam (in short, the steam selection switch) got stuck and it has remained permanently on steam. I have to take it for repair now. I didn't have any other job to worry about repairs. They make everything in China, what do you expect of course. We have to buy new ones every now and then. It claims to be 2600 W powerful. I don't believe it produces 2600 W. It heats up quickly but that doesn't mean it irons quickly. Even for this minor flaw, I'm considering getting it fixed. Besides, they have become obsessed with watts in irons in all brands, who knows what consumption it has. But the worst part is that I have to fill the 300 ml tank with water every now and then and the water is consumed immediately. You can't even finish ironing one garment and it needs refilling again.
Update. In the end, I went to the service and the device was replaced for free. However, even the new device I see that the steam cursor slightly sticks, of course it is not like before when it didn't move due to the defect of the cursor. Think about it before you buy it. In the end, it is made in Indonesia.

Did you find this review helpful?I used the Philips GC 2830 (1.25 kg) for many years (left in the photo) but the bottom plate got stained, so I decided to upgrade it with the PHILIPS GC 4564. Undoubtedly, this iron has a nice large plate and very good steam, however, it comes with a significant downside, which is its weight (1.67 kg), almost half a kilogram more than what I had! Another issue is that the handle doesn't have a good grip. When you hold it in a vertical position to use it, it slips a little from your hand, which also strains the wrist. I will further evaluate its performance in the coming weeks and will come back with a more detailed review. For now, it's 3/5 stars.
Update: January 18, 21 - after 10 days of use, I want to say that my rating remains the same (3/5). My two initial negative observations still stand, the weight and the handle, but I want to add another negative and a positive aspect. The round switch that turns to select the desired temperature is very close to the handle, and I accidentally turn it very often! The positive aspect of the iron is that it produces a lot of steam. This, combined with its heaviness, makes ironing easier since you don't need to press the iron too hard to do a proper job. So, its heaviness has both a positive and a negative aspect!
