I used it for stubborn and difficult limescale at the bottom of the toilet bowl. Having tried various chemicals and methods and having become desperate, I read about the "sour" solution. I poured a kettle of boiling water into the toilet bowl and then added 3-4 tablespoons of citric acid. I left it overnight and the next morning the limescale came off easily like a little toy
Amazing product! I tried it in the toilet bowl that had salt stains from the water and it worked wonders! It made it look like new! No scrubbing or chemicals needed. I also used it in the kettle and the salt stains disappeared in record time. And the price is relatively funny compared to what it does. It's unbelievable! I literally saved myself!
I have been using citric acid for years to clean limescale in filter coffee makers, kettles, and steam iron boilers, and also for extra softness in laundry washes without using salt. Additionally, a spoonful in warm water can make bathroom faucets and batteries shine, removing limescale without the need for expensive and smelly chemical descalers. And of course, it can be used anywhere else to remove limescale.
The price is also ridiculous compared to the small packets of a few grams sold in supermarkets.
I bought it because I read that it cleans the dishwasher without using those expensive chemicals they sell, and I was really satisfied! I also used it in the washing machine that collects grime from fabric softeners and soaps, and there it also had good results but requires more frequent use. I also put a spoonful in the towels and they came out very soft.
Very nicely sealed and inside the packaging that is shown in the photo, it was in plastic bags to prevent moisture from getting in. I use it in combination with soda to create CO2 for the plants in the aquarium. I am satisfied.
Very good product. I clean my coffee maker healthily and quickly without chemicals and unpleasant taste in the water (see cleaning with vinegar). Citric acid is the best in my opinion!
I bought it to remove limescale from kettles, coffee makers, etc. No more vinegar. I make a 1 to 2% (w/v) solution and instead of rinsing with vinegar, the kettle smells like lemon afterwards. Just like with vinegar, it needs a good rinse afterwards to prevent plastic parts of the appliance from corroding.

This is simply citric acid, like a lot of other citric acids, but the price for size ratio I think is very good. You are getting a kilo of citric acid in one container and a spoonful (or two at most) is enough to completely descale, for instance, a kettle in seconds. A very quick and cost effective product that I would happily buy again.
