The C70 Metal by HJC is a full face helmet, which protects the entire head and jaw. For this reason, this type of helmet is considered the safest and most durable for both travel and city rides. It is made of composite fibre, that is, from synthetic fibers that make it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It fastens with a microlock, which allows you to fasten it easily and quickly. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05", which ensures that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. It is pinlock ready, which means that there is the possibility of installing an additional accessory for the visor that helps to prevent fogging during the winter months. The anti-fog film is not included in the package. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Very good helmet!!! I got it for myself and my girlfriend. It's worth every penny and more. The only small drawback it has is that it's tight on the cheeks, but over time it loosens up
In the positives:
1. Excellent visibility.
2. The sun visor is very good and convenient.
3. Relatively lightweight.
In the negatives:
1. Too much noise!!!! The noise is reduced when the chin vent is open. If you close it, the noise increases, and I'm not talking about high speeds. Also, while they did a relatively good job with this helmet, they could improve the visor fastening. It creates quite a bit of noise. I realized this because even when it is fastened, if you press it even slightly downwards with your hand, the noise immediately decreases.
2. Although my size is L, it seems to have a narrower fit, so it is borderline for me. It feels a bit tight, I would say. The XL size is loose.
3. Quite hot in the summer due to inadequate ventilation at low speeds.
I have changed many helmets, expensive and cheaper ones, and I have an opinion. This one has amazing clarity (important) and wide visibility, external clear visor as well as internal tinted visor, which goes down low, almost to the nose. It also has excellent fit, is well-balanced, and feels very lightweight. I don't have an opinion on the colors because I have it in white. The ventilation control buttons work perfectly. The interior, cheek pads and headliner, are of good quality, don't wear out quickly, and are interchangeable if you want a future refresh. The visor can be removed and repositioned very easily and flawlessly (very important), in seconds. The mechanism of the internal tinted visor works easily and smoothly, and is in a very convenient position. Now for the negatives... Noise. Too much of it. So much that even if it's windy and you are stationary, it can be heard excessively throughout the entire helmet, which is very bothersome. You definitely need earplugs. Ventilation is moderately insufficient. Even with the vents fully open, you don't feel any airflow, in the summer, at 34 degrees, imagine with more heat. The visor has a good fit on the rubber, and locking it is easy. If you can overcome the shock of the noise and the inadequate ventilation, it is decent.
After 6 months of use, the recoil spring of the female fastening broke. I went to the dealership and they told me they had never encountered this problem before. After a week, they replaced the helmet with a new one.
After 4 months since the replacement, I had the exact same problem again.
I went back to the dealership, left it there, paid a difference of 200€, and got the rpha11, which has a double D ring, and I haven't had any issues since
Vfm... just get it...
