Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I have had it for almost 2 years, generally satisfied with daily use except maybe for the fact that it could have the same material investment on the bottom to avoid bumps and scratches. Lately, there has been a strange sound with the disturbances on the road, something like trembling and not sitting still on its base, which is annoying to say the least.
Very good!!!! It's worth the money. I bought it 8 months ago and I have traveled about 17000km with the suitcase on, as I use it on a daily basis besides traveling. It comfortably fits things for a couple's three-day trip. Two full-face helmets, a motorcycle jacket, a lock, and some small items are its capacity limit.
Completely waterproof!!! It doesn't let any water pass through. Besides many rides in the rain, the suitcase stays on top even during washing the motorcycle, and it has never taken a single drop.
I had no problems and there were no signs of alteration or rust...
Also, the fact that it is rectangular allows for better organization of things and avoids empty space, as usually happens with "oval" plastic ones.... This way, you can fully utilize its capacity.
I believe it's worth its money, especially considering that it is made of aluminum and not plastic... and of course, it's 58L!!!
It would be very convenient for me if it could stay locked but unlocked for certain routes. It looks good. Time will tell
I will comment on it based on the price. Very expensive. Inside, it has a sponge at the bottom, which should normally be lined with the entire trunk or give you the option to buy it separately. I bought it by the meter and cut and sewed it afterwards. If you don't do this, things inside will hit and make noise, and they may even leave marks on the outside, making it look like it's made of tin, but it doesn't affect anything. I can't say that it comfortably fits two helmets, especially if they have intercoms. It is very easy to put in and take out, and it can hold a lot of things from the side handles. The lock has a dark spot where you can lock the key to remove it, but my girlfriend didn't notice it and didn't secure the top lid, which can be a bit misleading. The engine works perfectly, it doesn't shake or tremble at all.
After a year, the trunk is still in perfect condition, both in terms of color and mechanisms. I use the motorcycle every day, whether it's raining or not. Recently, I noticed that when I went on a dirt road, the dust from the wheel somehow got inside the trunk like powder.
I have had it for three years now in continuous misuse, it has made me look bad, the only negative thing I find is that it has expensive accessories that are not included (straps, net) and that in combination with the Obk48 side cases on a 2007 r1200gs, the lid of the right side case does not open because it finds it. (something that would not happen with the smaller top case in the series). As for space, I can say that it has never bothered me in everyday life (supermarket and other shopping).
I have a BMW gs 1200 adv from 08.... In the second month, this specific suitcase, the metal caused corrosion, I tried to fix it with creams, I asked various experts and specialists and in the end nothing can be done, it's the metal... I called the dealership, and of course the blame fell on me... they say I used chemicals or I live next to the sea... firstly, I don't live next to the sea, secondly, how can the sea do this only to the suitcase in 2 months and not to the bike, I don't know... my bike is like new after all these years, the BMW side cases that I still have and have traveled many kilometers to islands, next to seas, in Crete, rain, hardships, haven't suffered anything, neither has my bike... in the end, I had to go and stick stickers so it wouldn't be visible since I didn't get anywhere with it... I am dissatisfied, especially with the company's treatment and excuses... at least they could have told me to use anodized coating (what we use on boats) so that the metal doesn't get affected!... I give it 2 stars, because it is a user-friendly, spacious suitcase and it fits the BMW...
Excellent in terms of available space, excellent construction without creaking. Plenty of notches for fastening on and around it. The price is the only negative aspect
