With the writing of this book, we aim to help the student successfully meet the requirements of the Modern Greek Language course for the 1st Grade of Gymnasium. Recognizing the importance of linguistic cultivation, our main goal is for the student to understand the theory (grammar, syntax, vocabulary, speech production), which is presented in a practical and comprehensible way, and through exercises to consolidate it as fully as possible. At the same time, our goal is to support the work of the educator, who will have the course theory gathered with additional material for their teaching preparation.

Specifically, following the structure of the school textbook, each unit of this book includes:
- answers to the comprehension questions of the texts and the exercises of the sections Listen and Speak - Read and Write,
- complete theory of grammatical and syntactical phenomena,
- supplementary material for written speech production,
- instructions and practical information for the completion of interdisciplinary project topics,
- additional exercises for better consolidation of the theory,
- evaluation criteria for practicing and checking the student's knowledge.

In the last part of the book, the answers to the proposed exercises and the evaluation criteria are found. Detailed answers to all the exercises-activities of the Workbook follow, which the student can find easily and quickly.
