Wasted money. It was good, quite lightweight, easy to use, but it broke in 2.5 years with minimal and light use (not even 3 hours). I was pruning small angelicas and laurels, only tender branches. Due to lockdown, I couldn't go to the countryside and I had to hire a local gardener with his own machine. It's unjustifiable for it to break. It would have been better if I had bought it from the German supermarket for 2/3 of the price and with a 3-year warranty. A product that justifies those who say that a branded product is a more expensive anonymous one... Ladies, if your man neglects you for the sake of the garden, get such tools to disappoint him and hire a gardener. With the 20-25 euros per hour that the machine ultimately cost me, it would have been cheaper...
Edit: I took it for service, described the problem, and they told me it's better to buy a new one, as the entire unit that needs fixing with the gears/blades needs to be replaced...
Edit2: Since I didn't have a warranty and the service would cost as much as buying a new one, I decided to open it. The blades/motor gears were all in perfect condition. Logical, considering it had minimal use. However, the plastic casing also serves as a base for the motor and blades. Obviously, it is so poorly designed that the unit with the blades had play in its base, which caused the gear to scrape against the plastic and develop more play, ultimately causing the motor gear to jump over the blade gear and make noise without the blades moving. Even when I moved the motor with my finger, the gear would skip teeth. The gears were still in very good condition. Inside the gear area, there was grease with many leaves from the bushes I was cutting. I don't know if that was the cause, but it doesn't seem right for leaves to enter that area... I threw it away for recycling (plastic body, electronic motor, and blades) and bought one from a competing brand. I imagine it will have the same problems (with a weight of 2.5 kg, it will inevitably have plastic inside), but they offer a free warranty extension to 3 years, so it will be cheaper for me if it breaks again on its own in 2.5 years... Also, the teeth of the new one are 45 centimeters and with a gap of 1.5, the motor is 100 watts less, so logically it will put less strain on the plastic. It's a shame about the flawed design, it was a very nice machine while it lasted...
