Description

Against the intellectual watchdogs of power, the integrated intellectuals who are systematically presented as the only version of intellect, there is another category. This is the potentially revolutionary, mass proletarianized intellect and the few non-incorporated in the center of production and the working class, revolutionary intellectuals, to whom the top leaders of the labor movement also belonged, from Marx, Engels, Lenin, to Che and our own Belogiannis. What is the role of this second category of intellect in an era of rapid change, where the very process of work is intellectualized, and the accumulated knowledge under the control of the "general intellect" makes the dominance of free activity as an end in itself possible, the only solution against capitalist barbarism being communist emancipation?
How can this revolutionary intellect contribute to transforming the ghost of communism into a tangible reality of the world, which continues to hover over it, so that the philosopher people become kings of themselves?
What content can the relationship between "heart" and "head" have in our era, with which Marx compared the relationship between the working class and revolutionary intellect, the "outside" of the working class of Lenin, or the "organic intellectual" of the working class of Gramsci?
What is the character and role of revolutionary intellect in an era when bourgeois ideological hegemony is strengthened, while the working class is no longer limited to "blue-collar" workers, nor is intellect limited to the few non-working intellectuals?
What are the conditions for the existence and functioning of a pioneering revolutionary collective intellect, which is more necessary than ever today, combining collective popular wisdom with theoretical knowledge, politics with science, revolutionary passion with logic?
