Greek Geomythology is the interdisciplinary analysis of Greek myths, which leads to the identification of geophysical, astronomical, and historical events hidden within them. This analysis provides valuable knowledge about floods, preserved with mythical guise, unknown ancient earthquakes, sea seismic waves, technical works, and unknown astronomical phenomena (comet passages, solar and lunar eclipses, meteorite falls, changes in the North Pole of the celestial sphere, correlations of constellations with specific Greek heroes) that occurred in the distant past. In this way, geomythology achieves to provide a new perspective in historical, archaeological, and anthropological research, opening new horizons in fields of knowledge that illuminate the early conception of the world and enhance human self-awareness.
