Very good facial cleanser (not for eyes) with "gentle" ingredients for the body, it doesn't have a scent as it should be for cosmetic products, especially for the face, to avoid allergies, reactions, etc. A small amount is enough to clean the entire face without producing too much foam (maybe with full makeup on, it might require two passes). Considering its affordable price and quantity, it lasts a long time and it's worth it. It doesn't pull on the skin, nor does it cause irritation! An extra bonus is that it contains ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid!

I trusted the reviews, as it seems to work positively for most people.

For me, no. While it is fine for the body, when I applied it to my face, although initially I felt a sense of cleanliness and freshness, two days later I had cysts and pimples on my chin and cheeks.

I didn't immediately realize that this specific cleanser could be the cause, so I continued using it until the condition of my face worsened incredibly, to the point where I couldn't even go out in public.

As soon as I stopped using it and went back to my old classic blue bottle from another brand (which, however, excessively dries out the face), my skin started returning to normal levels.

I also read reviews from abroad which indicate that many other people besides me have the exact same problem with cerave products, especially when it comes to the face and not so much the body.

The conclusion is that something that may work perfectly for the majority does not mean it will work the same way for you.

  Unfortunately, although I didn't apply it near my eyes, it caused severe swelling in my eyes. Obviously, an allergic reaction. I have never had an allergy to any other product in my life. Allergies, of course, can occur unexpectedly. However, I do not have sensitive skin. My review is mainly for those who may experience the same, to immediately understand that the product is to blame because it took me a month to realize that the soap was responsible. I used it for three days and then the swelling appeared, then I left my face without any product for two weeks to calm my eyes, and then I used it again once at night and woke up the next day with swelling again. I applied the cream that the dermatologist gave me again, calmed down, and left it aside. However, from the first application, I was thrilled because it made my skin perfectly clean. I was disappointed that I cannot use it again.
