The subject of study of philosophical logic is indeed difficult to define precisely, partly because it intersects with many other areas of philosophy, such as metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language, and partly because it is directly evident what connects all the fields with which philosophers traditionally dealt under the title of philosophical logic.
