The twelve-year-old Thomas was born with intellectual disability. His parents loved him very much, he became the joy of their lives. As he grew up, they helped him meet his everyday needs on his own. At the Special School he attended, he made many friends and learned a lot: how to write, read, and create beautiful clay objects. His talent in running led him to the Special Olympics in America. There, he became friends with children from all participating countries and while competing, he showcased the values of kindness and the Olympic motto "Citius, Altius, Fortius".
