In the not-so-distant future, two twelve-year-old children, Zoe and Kora, decide to play a "strange" game. They know that in order for this to happen, they must venture outside the transparent dome that protects their city, into the desolation of an old dried-up lake.

They have not accounted for the constant rain that has been falling lately, nor that what they started as a game has its own rules, completely different from those of the games they played through their screens.
