Sturdy construction, very good value for the money.
Be careful, the anchors it comes with are only for concrete (definitely not for brick) and they are not very good. Personally, I supported it with chemical anchors on brick and it will never move. But even if I were to install it on concrete, I wouldn't use the anchors that come with the package.

Did you find this review helpful?WARNING: Because I read various things, this particular pull-up bar is NOT for ceiling installation. It is exclusively for wall installation and can only be installed in one way (the exact opposite of the central photo on Skroutz). Anyone who installs it upside down on the ceiling or wall is simply flirting with disaster. In the best case scenario, there is a risk of the pull-up bar breaking, and in the worst case, there could be a serious injury to a person who unexpectedly finds themselves on the ground with a 7.5-kilogram bar on their head. We do not play with safety.
As shown in the attached photos, the "clamps" through which the bar passes are held in place by two external welds on two sides. These two welds are not designed for heavy loads; they are simply there to hold the clamps in place. If the pull-up bar is installed upside down on the ceiling or wall, then these welds are expected to bear all the weight (including the weight of a person, etc.). They are expected to do something for which they are not intended or designed.
With that said, I would give the pull-up bar a 5-star rating if its price was €55 as it used to be. It is made in China, and the downside to this is that it does not come with clear installation instructions and safety warnings, which result in people without the appropriate knowledge ending up installing it incorrectly, with the corresponding disastrous consequences. The provided anchors - "screws" - are of poor quality (the nut and washer are cheap). Additionally, while they come in a blister package and are supposed to be galvanized, they already show signs of rust. Furthermore, these anchors are exclusively for concrete or stone. If you attempt to install them in brick, you will destroy it and it will come crashing down. For the upper holes (which do the most important work) that are placed on a beam, I used the anchors from Friulsider that require a 12mm hole and come with all the certifications. And for the lower holes that are placed on brick, I used specially designed Fischer anchors (also with certifications, etc.) and screws with washers. I used plywood pieces (after shaping them appropriately) because the specific wall is uneven and has the corresponding irregularities.
In general, all wall-mounted pull-up bars require relative knowledge for correct and appropriate installation without drama and destruction. So be careful both in what you buy and in what you do during installation.

Very good pull-up bar, I bought it for €33 on Black Friday.
It is of very good quality and it won't break. It has a good grip, good grip without your hand slipping, but when I add +10 kg, my hands hurt quite a bit in the first set, it's better to put tape on them if they hurt.
The only negative is that it's a bit difficult to fit on the wall because it's not the classic screws, but something metallic that when you put it on the wall with the screw, it screws and opens the inside of the screw, causing it to tighten on the wall. It can lift a lot of weight, so it's better this way because it's not going anywhere.
Also, you don't need to install it exactly as shown in the photo, whether the bar is on top or bottom, it's the same.19/7/19
