If you want a graphics card that is silent, cheap, good for photo/video editing, and maybe even for light gaming, I would recommend it. It hasn't given me any problems with temperatures and I have had it for 3 years.
My daughter uses it for image creation and editing, with corresponding software and drawing tablets. She is satisfied with the color rendering, at least on the screen where she looks at the details, as her tablet does not have the resolution that the card offers.
The graphics card is quite mediocre, I don't know if I would recommend it to someone because it reaches 82 degrees and has a crazy drop in fps from 60 to 20 even when idle. I have also had it for about a year and it has started to overheat, it doesn't work properly
My experience was good but it broke for me after 10 months, but I believe it was a factory mistake. Anyway, it's a very good graphics card and worth it for its price. Fortnite performs better in performance mode, achieving over 240 fps at 1080p, but it also runs smoothly in DirectX 11, reaching 1080p at 100-80 fps. You are quite good, you play almost all the games if you know how to fix the graphics and the resolution. Let me tell you, I run WARZONE with 35 fps
Unfortunately, 75-80 euros for a 1030 with GDDR4 and without a fan is not worth it.
I saw a big difference between this and a 1030 with GDDR5.
The fan is not mandatory for such a card, but it cannot be compared to a card with a fan and better memory.
Guys, be careful, there is a scam going on.
It is the "new" version of the 1030 which has DDR4 memory instead of GDDR5, resulting in half the speed (fps) in games compared to the classic GT 1030.
The scam is that Nvidia also calls it 1030 (instead of 1010, let's say), and even sells it at the same price as the regular GT 1030... Stay away!
