The two volumes of the teaching aid book "Modern Greek Literature G' High School, Theoretical Direction" (Volume I: Poetry, Volume II: Prose) aim to facilitate students in the learning process and support the teaching work of educators.

Thus, for each text, the following are provided:

• complete and analytical interpretive approach in a systematic and accessible manner for students,
• comprehensive and clear answers to all questions in the school book,
• "parallel texts" and evaluation criteria with their answers.

In Volume I (Modern Greek Literature, Poetry), additional elements are provided: elements of Modern Greek Literature, literary movements, elements of Modern Greek Metrics and figures of speech, as well as the interpretation of many key and useful terms. This introductory part concludes with an approach plan for a literary text as a proposal for both study and teaching of a literary text.

At the end of Volume I, there is also guidance for the student regarding the exam material (how the candidate's written examination is conducted and graded, how they should prepare for their mental test, and how to approach each question). Finally, indicative topics that have been given in the National Examinations are presented.
