After 15 years of uninterrupted presence in the Greek rock scene, Diafana Krina present a new, completely different work titled "The Round of the Day in Eighty Worlds".
In the years that have passed, four albums preceded, several participations in collections and hundreds of concerts, but above all, thousands of known and unknown companions emerged, all of whom are considered equally their company and invaluable consolation in whatever can go wrong in this world.
With this new work, which is not just another album, they offer a surprise that they quietly prepared, disproving all those who thought that a teenage dream is impossible to take such extent and last, to the benefit of all those who believed in them and loved them.
Indiktos Publications provided the ground for this dream to materialize. As a result, we now have in our hands a music edition that on the one hand highlights the fifteen-year journey of the band (through the publication of unpublished lyrics and texts, rare diaries born from their experiences on continuous tours, as well as rare selected photos from this period) and on the other hand includes the fifth, brand new album of the band! It is important that the prospect of publishing the book led Diafana Krina to surrender and experiment with various musical forms - often changing musical instruments among themselves - thus giving birth to eleven instrumental compositions of seventy-five minutes, ultimately depositing the soundtrack of the book. However, proving above all that they are alive and restless in the most interesting musical and literary mixtures, something that led them to create their most comprehensive musical work to date.
"The Round of the Day in Eighty Worlds" started in July and was completed in August 2005 in the basement space where Diafana Krina rehearse. Thanos Anestopoulos played acoustic guitar, piano, and organ. Pantelis Rodostoglou played bass. Kyriakos Tsoukalas played guitars, keyboards, vibraphone, and percussion. Tasos Machas played drums and percussion, and Nikos Bardis played guitars, trumpet, and percussion.
