It requires 2 AAA batteries and works directly. It worked without any problems on an LG TV model from 2009.

It has all the functions just like the original one that broke.

For those who can't find the Menu button, there is a transparent Shift button on the top left which, when pressed, activates the 5 buttons right below it (the ones with red headings). The Menu button is the SETTINGS (TEXT) button.

Very good response for an LG TV from 2009, model 42LH3000. You insert 2 AAA batteries and it works simply. Very good button pressing sensation, just like the original ones. No comparison with imitations. The only thing I would like is for the info button to show me the program for all channels for the next few hours. It currently only shows the program for the channel I am on. After 10 months, the volume decrease button stopped responding, with very minimal use. Over time, it completely stopped working, it became outdated.

It was purchased for an LG42lh3000 model from 2010 and at least for the 3 days that I have had this remote control, I can say that it is by far the best (aside from the genuine) compatible remote control because unfortunately, I have previously tried 2 copies (clones) of the genuine one, but they only worked problematically for a few months. Now, in our case, it has quite good quality plastic and rubber on the buttons, and a good feel on the buttons with a very good range. The durability will be shown in the future.
