The previous e-star mobile with buttons lasted 4 years of use - beyond what was expected. I recently received this one for simple use and it is very special. It has a touch screen (with basic functions though - not a smartphone) and for its price of €24 (the same as the previous model), it is very beautiful, functional, and responsive. Also, even though it is small, it has touch buttons that are not difficult in terms of size and it has a "good quality" feel in the hand... it doesn't feel too "plasticky". Now, if an elderly person is even slightly familiar with touch screens, then it will be just fine for them. ... It's great for its category and if it breaks, it's not a big deal... €24.
