Compared to the Miele I have, it is very mediocre in construction. The huge disappointment is that when I bought it 4 years ago it was 49 euros and of course it is still the same code, which means it is the same product. What a rip-off to sell such items for so much money... Yes, for 50 euros it is very good...
I had a similar Philips vacuum cleaner purchased around 2000. Made in Germany. I see that the comparison with the "former" ones, in terms of vacuum cleaner, is inevitable. Quality-wise, I must say that even the sticker of the new one "Made in China, Manufactured in Netherlands" is not satisfactorily glued. The telescopic handle has a slight play at maximum length, in the middle of the joint, and it doesn't like being pressed too hard. My old one could also be used by strippers for dancing.
On the handle, there is this silly thing for pressure reduction (a sliding switch) for sofas, etc., which is inevitable where it is located, not to open or close it while vacuuming.
The brush attachment on the nozzle is thin and the synthetic carpet fibers simply get combed. And the switch to alternate between brush and non-brush is tragic. This particular head has the two classic wheels at the back, and two more in the front, smaller than majorette toy cars, which of course get tangled with fibers. Oh, lazy Dutch people! The cable length is 5m and something. Moderate range. My old one went further. Its accessory is not the most helpful.
On the positive side, it is cheap. Good suction. It is claimed that when approaching the head to the debris, it will collect 99.9%. Okay, I won't disagree much. At low watts, it is quieter than my old one. It is indeed lightweight and easy to carry around.
In summary, it does its job, but even in this quality, it could improve its flaws if any Dutch-Chinese person tested it first.
After 6 years, it broke yesterday.
However, until the last day, it was worth its money.
It wasn't quiet, but I will definitely buy the same one again.
Honest broom for its money.. It is what we call worth its money.. It has power.. No attachments.. Satisfactory for its performance..
A small-sized but powerful electric vacuum cleaner. I consulted foreign reviews before purchasing it. It is exactly what I wanted. I am satisfied with its performance and I like that even though it is almost the same size as the old one, it has double the power and half the consumption (1400W -> 750W).
Pros:
1) Lightweight, can be held with one hand while vacuuming with the other.
2) Can be stored horizontally or vertically.
3) Good value for money, priced at €86.90 with home delivery.
4) Construction materials appear to be of good quality.
5) Length of the cord.
Cons:
1) Although the attachments (flexible hose, telescopic tube, nozzle) fit well, they do not lock mechanically.
2) 77db is quite loud. You may not need ear protection, but you cannot use it when someone else is sleeping.
I would recommend it for small houses, caravans, cars, and for quick cleaning tasks. However, not suitable for large spaces, many carpets, or households with pets
