You need to do several tests at the beginning until you get used to it. Sometimes it scans up to 99 pages (multiple pdf), if you exceed them, the file will not open.
For scanning processing (pdf format), it has its own program but it is difficult to use and non-functional, so Acrobat Pro is definitely recommended. The connection via WiFi and the Android application is only suitable for a few pages - quick scanning. However, just for convenience, scanning quality, and portability, it is definitely worth the money. Its battery has low autonomy. It may have a problem with scanning ("gray stripe").

It is an excellent tool only if one has a good OCR, like Abbyys FineReader 14 or equivalent. The accompanying software, Readiris, is very bad software, which is completely useless for polytonic text. However, with FineReader, book 5 becomes an invaluable tool, especially for educators.
