By utilizing the principles of experiential learning and following the contemporary teaching practices, the series of illustrated cards and corresponding thematic frames were designed to depict realistic concepts that individuals encounter in their everyday lives. The purpose of creating these cards is to facilitate easy, comfortable, and playful engagement with objective knowledge. The word cards are useful for future reference, revision, and reinforcement, with the aim of enjoyable and rapid assimilation.

They provide suggestions and ideas to parents, educators, specialists (speech therapists, special education teachers, psychologists), and anyone involved in the learning process for individuals who are first exposed to written language in the Greek language. They also target students of all ages, Greek-speaking and non-Greek-speaking individuals, as well as individuals with special educational needs. They serve as a significant aid for adults with mild or severe memory problems. Their main objective is linguistic cultivation, development of verbal fluency, and strengthening of auditory and visual memory.

The cards and thematic frames can be used in various ways. Specifically, they introduce the concept of letters as symbols and assist in differentiating the linguistic symbolic system from other symbols, enhancing the visual association between objects and linguistic symbols, the connection between sound and writing, and familiarity with the concept of a word as an ideational whole.

The use of the available covering strip provides the specialist with the option of partial or complete disclosure of the word on the card, thereby enhancing phonological cultivation (segmentation of words into syllables and letters).
