  I bought 6 to reduce shipping costs and give them as gifts. It does the job it claims, indeed it charges from solar light. It is bigger than I expected. Since it takes 2 AA batteries, I thought it would be pocket-sized like the equivalent energizer, but it is about 16x5.5cm. It comes with 2 rechargeable NiMH batteries of the brand GRAND CELL (Chinese). But they claim that each one is 1500mAh! It also has Greek instructions! It says it can charge with continuous exposure to the sun in 10 hours, which is about 2 days, and it can illuminate for 5 hours. But it also says that we should change the batteries with new ones every year! Does it destroy them? Overcharge them? It's strange that it says something like that. It also has a 1-year warranty, but not for the batteries and LEDs. It also says that its panel is 0.4W. The batteries can be removed from a remote control type port and can be charged with a charger for faster charging. I used this method with 2 chargers. The old one took them out in half an hour, probably half-charged, while the new one, with a small power supply, struggled with them for 6 hours and after charging one, I took them all out quite warm. It is said that it is not very healthy for NiMH batteries to get warm. However, out of the total of 12 batteries (6 flashlights), two batteries were defective. So one out of the 6 flashlights does not work and I put in other batteries. This means a percentage of defective flashlights of 17% or 33%, if one takes into account that the 2 defective batteries were in 2 flashlights. I suppose their long stay in stores is not healthy for the batteries. Finally, it claims that it can also charge a mobile phone through the plug that I have in the second photo. But they do not provide the final plugs and the one it has, I don't think it fits any mobile phone. So, that's not possible. Conclusion: The cost is low (~3.32€) and it has 1500mAh batteries, which may be defective. It is a bit bulky, but it does its job.
