The book begins with a brief but comprehensive introduction to Herodotus and his work, followed by an interpretative approach to the teaching units. It discusses inductively the most important factual, semantic, aesthetic, and methodological elements of the text. It includes answers to all the questions and interdisciplinary assignments found in both the Student's and the Teacher's books. Additionally, it provides extra open and closed type exercises for better consolidation of the material, and at the end, some samples of Student Evaluation Criteria.
