The two volumes of the aid book "Modern Greek Literature for 12th Grade Theoretical Stream" (Volume I: Poetry, Volume II: Prose) aim to facilitate the learning process for students and support the teaching work of educators. Thus, for each text, the following are provided:
- a complete and detailed interpretative approach in a methodical and accessible manner for students,
- comprehensive and clear answers to all the questions in the school textbook,
- "parallel texts" and evaluation criteria with their answers.
In Volume I (Modern Greek Literature, Poetry), additional elements are provided: elements of Modern Greek Literary History, literary movements, elements of Modern Greek Metrics and figures of speech, as well as the interpretation of many crucial and useful terms. This introductory part concludes with a plan for approaching a literary text as a proposal not only for study but also for teaching a literary text.
At the end of Volume I, there is also guidance for the student regarding the exam material of the course (how the written examination of the candidate is conducted and how their paper is graded, how they should act during their mental trial, and how to address each of the questions). Finally, indicative topics that have been given in the Panhellenic Examinations are provided.
