The new color-coding system allows you to "see" your sounds, and will dramatically enhance your performance when working with the Maschine.

Simply assign colors to groups, sounds, and scenes, and watch the pads and grouping keys light up in the same colors. Make your drums red, for example, and you'll always know which pads are playing drums. Add some color to your creations! And with the increased sensitivity of the new pads, you have a new level of precision at your fingertips.

The output section has been redesigned.

Adjust volume, tempo, and swing with the new multifunction rotary encoder - select levels with the new toggle buttons and precisely choose the value without needing to read the screen. Navigation is much easier, and pitch changes and detailed parameterization become very accurate, thanks to the excellent physical response of the encoder.

Now, with 47 white, illuminated keys and colored transport controls, the Mk2 offers an unprecedented experience in creating rhythmic music.

The Maschine software includes time stretch and pitch shift.

Seamlessly transition from one beat to another with the stretch function, aided by automatic BPM detection. Or extend your audio file to a specific length - to fit a sample to the same length as another, for example.

Additionally, make your beats harmonize with each other by tuning your samples with the pitch shift function.

The latest free software update includes new effects, specially selected for beat production.

The TRANSIENT MASTER, NI's highly popular effect, is now fully integrated into the MASCHINE software. Ideal for placing drums and percussion, it allows you to mix from front to back, giving each sample exactly the right amount of space.

The New Tube, Tape Saturator, and Tube Saturator effects bring the secrets of analog warmth and natural, harmonic compression to MASCHINE, for even greater sound coloring capabilities.

The new Maschine takes a leap forward in usability, reliability, and aesthetics. The inverted screens provide greater contrast, better visuals, and a bolder look in dark environments.

Slightly heavier than before, it works better in studio setups and on stage due to the new position of the USB and MIDI I/O ports – with less risk of accidental disconnection.
