Dear student,
This book that you are holding can become a valuable tool for knowledge, understanding, and consolidation of the mathematics of the 2nd Gymnasium. Your reading should be divided into three stages:
-THEORY
Knowledge of theory is a fundamental part of studying mathematics. Learn, understand, and consolidate the theory that is presented at the beginning of each unit. The presence of many examples will help you.
-EXERCISE FORMS - SOLVED APPLICATIONS
Once the theory has truly become your own, study and understand the different forms of exercises that you will encounter. The solved applications corresponding to the different exercise forms will help you. Solve and re-solve the solved applications so that you fully understand how and why everything is done. Do not try to memorize exercises!!! Mathematics is about thinking and logic, not rote learning.
-CLOSED-TYPE QUESTIONS - EXERCISES TO BE SOLVED
Once the previous two steps have been completed, solve the closed-type questions at the end of each unit. Then, solve the exercises to be solved without any help. Try to tackle the difficult points as much as possible. If the solution does not emerge, there are hints-answers at the end of the book to help you or check the results you found.
Do not forget that these steps are necessary for you to fully understand what each unit deals with.
When the time for exams approaches, use the "REVIEW GUIDE" provided in the book. The theory questions will help you see if you know the theory, the review exercises will help you check your ability to solve exercises, and the indicative exam topics will give you an idea of the logic of the final exam.
