  I bought it for two reasons, first because I wanted a lamp without a base and second because I wanted its mounting mechanism to be as compact and sturdy as possible.
  The lamp is mostly made of metal, with only the joints' clamps and the main clamp being made of plastic. The on-off switch is located at the top of the main lamp and has a good quality feel to it. It accepts a bulb up to 40 watts, but I used an 8.5-watt LED and the lighting is more than sufficient.
  The main reason for me and the reason why I paid the higher price compared to two other clones is the mounting mechanism. The gap between my wall and the desk is very small and this one seemed compact enough to fit. In the end, I was not mistaken, the wall-desk gap is 3 centimeters and, as far as I can see, the clamp can fit in a gap of about 2.5 centimeters, so be careful. Its base also provides many other mounting options, with 4 holes for screwing it in, while it can also be mounted vertically on a wall.
  Overall, it is a very good choice, although quite expensive compared to others. It costs twice as much as similar ones and I cannot know if it is worth it, but evaluating it individually, I cannot find any disadvantages.

  Very nice, large desk lamp.
  My only issue is that if I want to turn the body 180 degrees towards the bed, the hinge it has doesn't work so well and the lamp leans a bit. But there is a hole to screw it onto the desk. (Mine is wooden)
