I have given this food 2 chances and so far, both times it has disappointed me. For those who don't know, it is considered a top dry food based on its nutritional ingredients and holds one of the highest ratings in the market. While feeding it to my puppy, it had good mood, shiny coat, and gained weight and muscle mass. Unfortunately, after one month, it caused diarrhea. I should note that the dosage was always measured according to the grams stated on the packaging, based on weight and age. The problem is common. If you search, you will find many owners complaining. Even if I reduced the recommended daily dosage, the problem persisted. It is likely due to its high protein and fat content.

The best food on the market! It's worth every penny and more! I still don't have a complete opinion because I've only been using it for a month! Initially, when I opened it, I almost vomited from the smell of fish!! This indicates that you are feeding your dog a top-quality food!! All the other foods I've smelled have the characteristic smell of dry food... on the contrary, this one says it all with the fish smell. Secondly, my dog is more cheerful than before and his bowel movements are better!!! His bowel movements are well-formed and solid, and the smell is tolerable compared to the previous food I was giving him, which was also super premium. Something you should notice, those of you who say it's expensive, look at the grams on the dosage chart... with a cheaper food at 80 euros, I needed about 1.5 bags of food per month, while with Orijen, I only need 1 bag, so you save and maybe spend an extra 10 euros at most... but you know what you're giving!!

Ideal food for large breed dogs. I have given it to both Bull Mastiffs and Malinois. With one product, you are buying a complete "system" of nutrition, from which nothing is missing. Depending on the activity and size of your dog, you feed your dog without compromising on quality. It may be expensive, but that's it. Orijen is worth it no matter what age phase you get it for.

Expensive but top quality. Essentially, it was a Barf food with all the benefits and ingredients that are missing from fresh Barf, plus the content of fresh certified and sterilized meats and fish is close to 90%. Surely the price is high (but has anyone ever wondered how a fresh Barf from each workshop is so cheap per kilo?) so it is definitely worth the cost at least for a period from the third to the seventh month of the puppy, a cost that in the long run is very likely to be offset by avoiding various health problems.

    Update 5/4/2021
Surely I do not deny what I have written about the food, but in the end, in my case (Cane Corso) as well as friends with the same or similar breed, the food did not sit well with any of our dogs (Many defecations with very soft stools), which means poor absorption by the body. It is very rich in protein and is intended for dogs with intense exercise and possibly in much colder climates than ours. The same goes for its cheaper sibling, Acana.
