The HR5BR is a compact device, equipped with an FM receiver with digital search and the ability to store up to 50 radio stations, allowing you to quickly select your favorite one.
You can play MP3 files either through any portable USB device or through the MicroSD card slot located at the back of the radio. The HR5BR can recognize devices with a capacity of up to 32GB. It also features a mini jack AUX input for connecting external audio sources and a readable LCD screen.
The wooden casing combined with high-quality plastic and earthy colors create a "modern classic" design, thanks to which this radio can elegantly fit into any interior space.
Equipped with a built-in amplifier with 3W RMS power. Combined with the high-quality speaker, this radio provides very good sound quality for its size.
The built-in clock features an alarm function with the option to set either your favorite radio station or a simple sound. Additionally, a remote control is included for distance control.

It is very decent - especially for its price compared to other similar or (theoretically) better ones - and I am satisfied.
It is very small but has good sound! The power cable with USB converter was a pleasant surprise.
I was expecting it eagerly and I had disappointment after disappointment. With the slightest power outage, you have to go through all the settings and all the stations from the beginning. It would be better if the remote control didn't exist, it's a hit or miss if it catches the same and if the alarm clock goes off. I used to have an alarm clock with a radio in the past and I loved waking up to music but I don't trust it at all
It constantly attracts parasites. If I don't touch it, wherever I have it, it attracts parasites. It has changed 3 places/neighborhoods... I do not recommend it. It also has difficult handling. Disappointing product.
1st surprise is how small it is, I expected it to be bigger. 2nd surprise is how full - clean and powerful sound it has. Expensive but seems to be worth the money *it also has a remote control - advice, somehow the reception is related to the power cable, make sure it is spread out and no problem
It is a bit more complicated than it could be based on its functions. Slightly smaller than we expected, the sound is decent for indoor use, but not to overcome any other noise that may be heard together, for example from a hood. And the signal is not that good.
After a year of use as a radio in the kitchen, the remote control is a bit of a joker if it will work, but the worst of all is that the battery performance drops to 0. The answer to this is of course "plug it in", yes it is plugged in but come on, with the slightest movement it loses contact with the USB. And the problem is that you have to start tuning from scratch... Elegant in design, average in sound but okay as a radio, I will definitely prefer another one for purchase so as not to break my already tested nerves :)

I have had it for 1 year now, it is beautiful, it has a very good signal and crystal clear sound, but it does not easily change stations and the remote control it has does not work very well and it annoys me. Personally, I would not recommend it. 4 stars for sound, signal, and design
Piece masterpiece everywhere. Also, all the remote-controlled blaupunkt devices that I have (6 in total) I control perfectly with just one multi remote control since they are on the same frequency. Study its Manual and do not press buttons randomly. Without an antenna and it plays perfectly... It is meant to play next to you (3 Watts RMS). Also, get a decent UPS so that your machines never break. Enjoy listening...
For the money I paid, it is definitely worth it and more! It has a powerful and clear sound and it is a mini stereo with all the functions it has! Although it doesn't have instructions in Greek, it is easy to use in English and it is well-built with quality materials if you want style too! Although I would have liked it to have a battery with a power bank for outdoor use, it is made for indoor use! Overall, I was impressed that with 28 euros you get something so powerful for its size!

Unfortunately, it was a failed purchase. It comes in two models. The one sold in Greece does not have a rechargeable battery. Therefore, it must always be plugged in. Additionally, the buttons hardly work at all. And there is a problem with changing stations
The radio has a relatively good sound for its price, but it has many negatives.
1. It does not take batteries.
2. It does not have good reception - it should have the ability for an antenna.
3. It is not user-friendly - the buttons do not respond well to pressing, and overall it is a complicated system to change stations or save stations... annoying! Who designed it?
There are much better radios for the money.
Unfortunately, in the case of Thessaloniki, it doesn't reach enough stations and this is very disappointing.
Also, I notice something strange, for some reason something is happening with the on/off button either of the device or from the remote control. There are times when it doesn't work, I tried pressing it momentarily, as well as holding it down, and it didn't turn on. I checked that it has power, and after leaving it for a while and trying again, it turned on. And this is something that has happened to me many times and I can't understand why it happens.
As for changing stations, in the case that you haven't saved them, the process is annoying. It doesn't search, but instead stops at every station it finds, even those that don't have a good frequency.
And one last comment about the sound, the volume when it's at the minimum, at 1, is quite high.
Update: after a month of use, there is another negative thing related to the signal. Whenever I turn on the lights in the room where I have it, interference starts.
It really isn't worth its money, it's overpriced.
Everything is fine, but to be fair, a couple of stations I wanted to catch are mediocre. It's a bit difficult to set alarms. The speaker is pretty loud, but unfortunately, you can't save the station you want. You have to scan and save it. If you're lucky, it will catch it automatically. Otherwise, there is a solution, you press the station you want from the remote control. I have placed it in my kitchen and it's great.
In Melissia, Attica, all the stations are playing bell! Definitely a VFM product! The controller is very useful, but be careful because it is fragile and in a few hours that we have it, we have already lost it twice.. ;-)

Completely fake. And most importantly: extremely user-unfriendly. It drains your soul to change stations, plus it doesn't have a dial and you have to go in order, chugga chugga, until you get where you want. So far, I haven't figured out how to save a station. If you close it, it starts again from the beginning and not at the station you want. It's a mess.... Also, its buttons are very hard and difficult to press. I prefer not to open it at all so I don't struggle. It doesn't take batteries. The casing is not wood but beige-colored sticker. I don't want to think about what will happen if it gets wet... In the end, I took one of the old ones and relaxed. Philips, portable, very easy, takes batteries, antenna, everything
I bought it to listen to the radio at work with my colleagues. Great signal and sound. The control helps a lot in selecting stations. The design is excellent for its price.
The volume does not have a satisfactory range, resulting in the lowest setting being too loud. Additionally, the remote control is non-functional.
Perfect in every aspect. The only negatives are that you cannot change the storage order of the 50 stations it already has and that its buttons do not have good touch sensitivity and require a lot of pressure to press.
I bought the radio to use it as an alarm clock in bed (I want to detach myself a bit from my phone and I don't want to grab it as soon as I wake up) and I evaluate it as an alarm clock and not as a radio. (As a radio, it has poor controls, okay sound quality, good signal, and impressive volume. I haven't tried USB and AUX).
However, as an alarm clock, it is not convenient because:
- You can't configure it to go off on specific days, for example, to exclude weekends.
- It is not simple to set it to manually turn off every weekend.
- The instructions in the manual (only in English) are in very poor English to the point where you can't make sense of some parts.
- It has a very annoying alarm sound, and if you want to activate the radio as an alarm clock, it is quite difficult, and I still haven't managed to adjust the volume, resulting in it being very loud.
- If for any reason the power goes out during the night, even for a short time, the alarm clock will not work (I say this with relative but not absolute certainty).
So, I probably regret the purchase as an alarm clock, especially considering the price it has reached now
I find it difficult to understand the negative comments. Whether they come from people who have never used a digital radio in their lives, or from others who expect a device that costs less than 30 euros to have super sound and perfect signal and high-quality materials, I don't know what else. The truth is that it is a very beautiful radio, which visually stands out from the tasteless, classic, black/silver plastics that are circulating and can decorate a nightstand/desk/living room without shame. As for the signal, it picked up every available station from my (windowless) kitchen, on the 1st floor of an apartment building in an area of Eastern Attica that is not known for its radio signal. Its sound, full and rich, its bass (from the subwoofer at the back) is more than enough while its volume really surprises as it comfortably fills a medium (to large) sized room. The remote control is indeed very small and light, which, for me at least, is a positive. Overall, I consider it satisfying both visually and acoustically for its cost.
Unacceptable at least. A poor copy of TIVOLI AUDIO radios with extremely unacceptable reception and extremely difficult to use in finding stations. Every time you unplug it, you have to retune it and each time it picks up different stations. I bought it for Syros and it doesn't pick up more than 1.5 stations well. Those who write that it has good sound and good reception either have a problem or have never listened to another radio in their life. Money wasted 100%.
Very good, the only thing it should have is an internal battery so that when it is disconnected from the power it can keep the stations you have saved.

For me, it lacks manual station storage and headphone output.
However, the FM reception is excellent (for Athens) and the sound is very good for its size.
It is small and beautiful, and the remote control works well although it looks fake. I hope it lasts.

Whoever doesn't have it should get it! Very good radio, good signal, beautiful, good build quality, excellent speaker! (very clear sound and powerful for its size) What else can one look for at this price, I don't know? I have been completely satisfied with this purchase. The only thing I would add is to have batteries, but with a power bank as mentioned by someone below, the problem is solved.
If you are not in Athens, do not buy it because it only catches a few stations with good signal, as it does not have an external antenna. Extremely inconvenient - to catch a station you want, you have to have faith (even the memories it only catches in the order it wants). The sound is loud for its size, but only good quality on the stations it catches with good reception. ---------- The only good thing is that it is beautiful and fits everywhere.

I bought it to have it in the office and it has really caught everyone's attention.... sometimes out of curiosity (how is it possible for such a small thing to have such good sound) and sometimes out of admiration (because of its retro design). I ended up buying one for home too...

It surprises you with how it plays.
As for the volume, it is good to very good, it won't disturb the neighbors, but you can't expect more from this small box.
Apart from USB, it also has a slot for a micro SD card.
It also has a sleep timer (but with a software bug, meaning when the time you set with the timer runs out, the device doesn't go into standby mode but turns off. It doesn't turn back on from the remote control, but you have to activate it from the on-off button on the device by pressing it for a long time, and then it works normally again from the remote control).
I took it out from where I initially placed it and put it somewhere else, and it didn't lose the radio presets. I need to leave it unplugged for longer to see.
6/2/20 - Yes, it loses the presets after a certain period of time unplugged, but I can't say after how long - in a test of about 10 minutes unplugged, it didn't lose them. When I unplugged it in the morning and plugged it back in at night, it had lost them. However, since it only has this automatic preset function, it's not a big issue.
Most of the equalizer settings, which only apply when used as an mp3 player, didn't appeal to me (rock - too muddy, very little treble; jazz - not at all; pop - not good as always; bass - better than rock but still needed more treble). So it plays well in standard (perhaps the most natural) and classic (more treble, more open sound, with more bass than normal and probably a greater sense of space, it throws the sound out of the box - for me, the best equalizer option).
What it doesn't have and would be good to have, without changing anything in its absolutely positive impression:
- next (or even previous) folder for mp3 files (it does have a numeric keypad on the remote for direct access to a track / if it only had next-previous track, I would reject it immediately)
- manual storing of radio stations in presets. It only has the known automatic scan and stations that don't fit in the 50 presets are left out, but it does have direct station selection with the numeric keys.
- external adjustable antenna that would help in some difficult positions for the really good receiver.
Small, beautiful, very good, adorable, inspired, exceptional product, with style and philosophy. What else can I say?
It's hard to imagine someone who wouldn't want to have it.
Cheap for what it is. Such products are not often found on the market.
4/2/20 The issue of not taking batteries to operate outside the power outlet is easily solved (due to the way it is powered, i.e. with a USB power adapter and a separate cable from USB to micro USB) with a power bank, if there is such a great need to use it somewhere without electricity.

Very nice in appearance and very good sound for its size. It takes a flash drive and a memory card but I haven't tried it. I only use it for the radio. Super for me. One of my best purchases for radios.
