Incredibly light and incredibly thin with a battery that lasts 12 continuous hours and a backlit keyboard.

From the time you make your morning coffee until you return home, you can work without searching for a power outlet. With 12 hours of continuous operation and standby time of up to 30 days, you will definitely get exhausted faster than this!
Whether you are sitting under the sun in a café or on a night flight, the built-in light sensor will adjust the LED backlight of the keyboard accordingly, so you can type comfortably even in complete darkness.
Whether you hold a notebook or the Macbook Air, the thickness is the same! Its ultra-thin design with a thickness of just 1.7 centimeters is impressive, making its use and transport an easy task!
Connect peripheral devices, such as monitors, printers, or hard drives, and experience what rapid data transfer means! The Thunderbolt 2.0 port with a speed of 20GBps is 2 times faster than Thunderbolt 1.0 and 4 times faster than a USB 3.0! Incredibly lightweight although I would have liked it to be more suitable for gaming, but overall it is a perfect Apple MacBook. I highly recommend it.
It's incredible. I use it for office work (word, powerpoint, excel, etc.) for Netflix and Spotify. It has never lagged on me, it's not a gaming laptop and as a result, it tends to heat up during heavy gaming. The software is unbeatable, it offers you many capabilities.
For the same money, it could have a better screen. Also, having it for a year, I have noticed that the company reduces the USB ports and other things, so if you are looking to buy a MacBook, keep that in mind
What you give, you get. Apple remains a stable value! No, I am not a user who has an iPhone, but I acquired an iPad and AirPods and I am incredibly satisfied. Incredible quality and speed. I am a user who has this computer for work with office and ERP programs. The screen is impeccable, I cannot understand the negativity in the reviews about it. The battery lasts quite a while. It depends, of course, on the work you do. For example, I happened to watch a movie for 2 hours and the battery went from 100% to 92%. Very fast, convenient, and lightweight! As for the money... Yes, in some other company you can get a laptop with better features, but let's not forget that before the purchase, we have to search a lot. And above all, do not forget that if you acquire an Apple computer, it will serve you for a decade for sure, because it is not only about the quality, but also the fact that it constantly sends system updates!
User for 10+ years on Apple phones, I finally switched to an Apple laptop and I'm thrilled! I use it mostly for documents and such due to work (I even got used to Pages immediately, didn't even need Office), and a lot of Safari (Cosmote TV, Nova, Netflix)... incredible speeds, battery lasts all day, amazing sound, and overall worth every euro even though it's a 2017 model! I think I found a "partner" for the next 8-10 years!
UPDATE 3/2023: The laptop still works just like the first day: Excellent speeds, exceptional screen, decent speakers, flawless keyboard, touchpad easily adapted, etc. The only downside (expected due to usage) is that the battery now needs servicing and it no longer lasts all day on its own, now I definitely have to carry the charger, the battery only lasts 3-4 hours.
As the owner of the Macbook Air for 1 year, I have settled on the following:
It is a reliable computer and despite Apple's quirks, MacOS is a secure operating system that does not allow you to download games and apps like you would on a Windows, so I would not recommend it for gamers. On the contrary, it is very good for video editing, with the pre-installed Apple iMovie program. It is also lightning-fast in browsing and office tasks. It has a very slim design and will accompany you for many years, thanks to at least 8 years of support for updates
Very satisfied with its use on a personal and professional level. It doesn't freeze, rarely overheats, it is lightweight and user-friendly, impeccable materials, unbeatable touchpad. It would only benefit from a slightly better screen with higher resolution, but for its price and brand, it is very powerful.
So my girlfriend got it because she wanted a Macbook.. even though I told her no.
I have a Lenovo laptop with Intel Core i5.. 512GB SSD and GTX 1650 graphics card.
She's regretting it now.
It doesn't have enough space for all her files with the small hard drive it has, only 128GB.
It struggles with heavy programs that require a graphics card.
And she wanted to play The Sims.. and I tell her... um....
..this laptop is only for Facebook, Emails, Youtube, Microsoft Office, like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
It's not meant for gaming or anything else...
It's too small to take with you to any library
First time I left normal and went to Mac. I'm still learning but for now I note that it doesn't freeze ... excellent battery and fantastic keyboard
Although this product can be described forever, I will try to be brief. The MacBook Air 2017 is a very good choice if not excellent for students and professionals with specific requirements. It has a satisfactory screen, excellent speaker, wonderful keyboard, excellent build quality, and one of the best software on the market (macOS Big Sur). It is worth buying even though in my opinion it wouldn't be bad with 150 euros less. In addition, its capacity is satisfactory for me, but no one would say no to something more.
Conclusion -> This particular machine is worth more for a student or student to buy and use for at least the next 5 years, but for a professional I will encourage them to refer to a newer computer such as -> MacBook Air 2019-2020 MacBook Pro 2017-2019
2 years of use ...
when I bought it, it cost about 1100 euros. I don't use this machine for gaming but for long hours of work inside and outside the office.
You can do everything with it and it is extremely lightweight, portable, and with a battery that you don't even think about.
After 2 years, I will say that the battery, when used for internet, word, excel, lasts comfortably for 5 hours.
For me, it is a work tool and I can do exactly what I want inside and outside the office.
The missing HDMI is a small negative, but you can get a corresponding cable to display on another screen or projectors.
I had an iMac 21.5 inch late 2013 and I bought this MacBook Air. It's perfect, it doesn't lag at all thanks to the SSD. I use it for 4K and 1080p video editing.
The best thing about these older MacBooks is that you can change the SSD to put a faster one. Overall, I would say it's amazing.
Well, I have had it for three months. It is a real tool that you always have with you. It charges very quickly and discharges after many hours of use. I haven't run any heavy programs and I don't know how it will handle, but overall it is very fast. It is exactly what I expected.
For anyone who wants a machine for office work and internet and doesn't mind spending 900 euros but wants to enjoy it for years, they should get it and they will enjoy it. At the same time, anyone who wants a similar windows ultrabook with a better screen, storage space, and processor can find it for 500 euros. The Mac has performance, simplicity, and quality as its strong points. On the other hand, anyone who wants games can find a Ryzen 7 laptop with a 1660 ti graphics card for 1000 euros. It's simply a matter of each person's needs.
Excellent laptop and especially reliable.. The latest one with the illuminated company logo, something that adds a pleasantly nostalgic note... For the intended use, I believe it covers the majority of needs that most users have.. Software is excellent and user-friendly for beginners who are not familiar with macOS.. Battery is very good and the speakers are excellent for music.. The touchpad is very good, no need for a mouse.. The only drawback is its screen, which is HD ready but still has a very satisfactory image, as well as the bezels which are somewhat outdated now...
I bought the MacBook Air 13'' exactly a year ago. It is simply perfect... I have no complaints, I would buy it again without a second thought! Apple is simply light-years ahead of other computer manufacturers.
I bought it from the official representative of Greece, which offers a 2-year warranty-service!!! I was extremely satisfied for the above reasons, as well as for the impeccable packaging, the prompt shipment of the package, and their telephone support!!!
Well, since I saw many unrelated comments, let me start from the beginning. This concerns a machine that is criticized abroad in reviews and generally. It is the second MacBook Air that was released and it has a 5th generation processor. Basically, you pay for something with a resolution of 1400 for 4-5 years, that's why it's so cheap. No, I'm not an Apple hater and I'm writing this review from my iMac. A thousand times better to spend 400 euros more and get something current like the MacBook 2018, MacBook Pro 13.3 2018, or even the MacBook Air 2018. It's a waste of money because it does what the iPad 9.7 2018 does for triple the price. Open a website to see if it's worth it, don't go like sheep and buy it just because it's cheap and Apple.
As soon as I switched from Windows to Mac, I saw my light. Definitely the best purchase I have made in recent years
I have been using an iPhone since 2010 and today, I bought my first Apple computer. After half a day of use, I almost got used to the software, which has impressed me. The computer provides portability, stability, and good speeds for office work and image and video editing. The sound is quite loud. The screen is fine, even though it's not the latest technology. The keyboard seems a bit small to me - and I have small hands - but I believe it's a matter of getting used to it. The touch and response are flawless. The battery lasts a long time, and the temperature remains cool despite hours of use. Simple and lightweight with basic connectivity ports. If you want a laptop for productivity, networking, and not gaming, I believe it is ideal and somewhat more affordable than other models.
The machine is flying, if you can give a little more, go for the latest model of the MacBook Pro without touch bar, otherwise you are here, it is an investment for many years, I have already changed a desktop computer and 3 laptops of 1000 euros with windows that were played by companies like Toshiba (professional series and good) and HP. If you also have an iPhone, you can make and answer regular calls from the MacBook and in general, whatever you open on one, you can transfer it to the other with a single move, everything happens on its own without dealing with settings and programs and wasting your time with experiments and mediocrity. It never freezes, for Word 2016 that I use on Windows it was dragging (I work with large files) and it was buggy, here no issues, everything works flawlessly. Finally, the build materials are years ahead and even the battery lasts 10-12 hours with browsing in such a thin package, other companies don't come close to it. A long-term investment.
