Amazing story with Inspector Harry Hole. Together with the snowman, I put it among the best of the series. I devoured it in 2 days. Especially at the end, I didn't want to let it go. Excellent characterization and it ties up some loose ends from previous books but also sets some new foundations for the next books of the anti-hero. It's worth reading and deserves a place in your library.
