We painted the room intended for my unborn child with eco-friendly Vivechrom paint. The smell is terrible; the room smells very bad. I waited for 3 weeks as I assumed that with the doors open, the smell would go away, but it didn't. After 3 weeks, I contacted the cooperative of painters in Pieria, as I got the specific paint from there, and explained the problem to them. They contacted the company themselves and arranged for a chemist from Vivechrom to come to our house to smell the room. He suggested that we repaint the room. The room was repainted, but unfortunately, it continued to smell. The smell decreased, but it still had an odor. I contacted him again to inform him that the room, despite being painted, still smells. He told me that perhaps the room had mold, which is why it smells. The room has never had mold, moisture, and it never smelled. He told me not to worry about the pregnancy and that it is safe for me to sleep there while being pregnant, and that the baby can also sleep there when it is born. I attempted to sleep there and woke up with terrible stomach pain and many vomits as if I had food poisoning. I contacted the cooperative of painters in Pieria again, and they in turn contacted Vivechrom again. This time they told us to apply a primer and then paint again with two coats. So, the room was painted for the third time. However, it still smells. The furniture in the room has also absorbed the smell, and today I called to have them come for disinfection of the furniture, and they did a biological cleaning. At this moment, I am overcharged for a useless room, I am in the 9th month of pregnancy, and I am a refugee as I have no room to stay in, and the company does not take responsibility.

I have painted the entire house and it doesn't smell at all. In fact, after 2 years, I used half a can again and it still didn't smell at all. However, I am very hesitant to buy it again after reading all these negative reviews. I should note that mistakes can happen in factories and it's very possible that they missed a faulty batch, who knows? However, I should mention my experience with the kitchen and bath product from the same company. I painted the bathroom ceiling at Easter and within a week, it had started to smell. I painted the ceiling in the children's room with the same product but from a different can at the end of July, and even after 30 days, it still smells, despite having much better ventilation in the room. I had a similar experience 2 years ago with a paint from another company. So, I have come to the following conclusion: eco-friendly paints SHOULD NOT smell almost at all during the painting process. If it does smell, then stop painting and contact the company to come and take it back as a faulty product. That's all

We have been suffering for two months with the smell. It is not toxic but it smells like mold and humidity, especially if it is hot and humid outside.
We painted with these for the baby's room and after a month we had to keep the house completely open, the walls were peeling off again and we had to repaint with a different color from another company.
However, the smell has not completely gone away yet, especially if there is a lot of humidity outside and no ventilation, even with the windows open, it still smells! They even came from the company and claimed that it was our fault when we painted and that we didn't wait 4 hours for the next coat, etc. And they suggested using a fan, dehumidifier, air conditioner... we paid for electricity for a month for nothing!
One wall was painted with VECHRO, in exactly the same way AND IT DOES NOT SMELL AT ALL!
However, no matter what, it is not possible that two months later, the windows have not been closed for even half an hour, there is electricity everywhere in the house for ventilation, and it still smells.
