It is, was, and is considered economical for its price (8.00€). I used it for a few years. At first, it would have 2-3 crashes per week, later there were more. I didn't have a problem until it started having BLUE SCREENS. I believe that the BSOD became more frequent after Windows 10, and in Windows 7, they only happened when I disconnected the device. Now they happen without me touching it.

I think 3 stars are enough. (I see that another user is also experiencing BSODs.)

Unacceptable drivers, unacceptable settings that require a professional cryptographer to interpret them, and the icing on the cake: following its beloved tactic of extreme carelessness, it supplies us with v.1, v.2, v.3, etc., essentially experimenting at our expense and indirectly admitting the failure of its products.

I have a 24 Mbps connection and it only reaches 10 Mbps at best. I upgraded to 100 Mbps and it barely reaches 40 Mbps, while with the cable I get normal speeds. There is a wall separating it from the living room and the distance is not even half a meter. For me, it's not worth it...

While the first 5 months were fine, after a relative upgrade from Vodafone to Cyta, it can't easily open web pages and video playback on YouTube plays at 144p and even that is a struggle...

Indeed, it is plug 'n' play (however, the package includes drivers). The signal is amazing. It reaches much further than any other device I have tried. And with 100% speed. I highly recommend it. And its price is extremely affordable.

It is good for simple use, but it does not work for downloading. It freezes and loses connection with the computer with speeds over 4mbps. I have to remove it and put it back in.

I made the mistake and bought it for Kali Linux. Unfortunately, it does not support monitor mode. Very good otherwise. It requires drivers on Windows, while it works directly on Linux. However, if you have it, there is this on GitHub: goo.gl/7WPm5s, which allows it to enter monitor mode. Unfortunately, I haven't managed to put it in monitor mode yet on the Raspberry Pi 3 model B with Kali.

Once in a while it disconnects and if you try to remove it, it gives a blue screen. For anyone who thinks that I got a defective piece, I clarify that I have two at my house with the same results...

I simply plugged it into my computer (Windows 10) and it worked after 2 seconds, without a CD, without any installation. The modem is located on the lower floor, yet the speed is 100% satisfactory. I recommend it, it has saved me!

I bought it for my hp laptop with a broadcom network card where the wifi was very slow with frequent disconnections. The router I have is the speeport 2ii from ote and the distance from the laptop is 15 meters with 3 walls in between. With a maximum speed of 30Mbps, the tp-link gives me a stable speed of 12Mbps on the speedtest and shows more networks than the laptop's wifi. Download the latest driver from the tp-link website before using it.

Excellent product. I have a VDSL 30 and it reaches full speed. I don't have it at a great distance from the router, but there are two walls in between. I highly recommend it.

Very good price. Attention to those who want it for Linux (e.g. Kali), because it is the wrong version. The v1 is the correct one.

I put it in my pc that runs win10. Completely plug and play process, without any freezing or disconnecting.
Regarding signal coverage and range, I cannot speak with certainty, because my house is not big. In my case, in an 80 sq.m. house where the router is located at one end of the apartment and the pc is at the other, with several walls in between, the signal it captures is full. I don't know what capabilities it has in larger houses.

Although it states that it is compatible with Linux, the company does not provide drivers for its proper functioning. Avoid this specific product.
