I have been using it for about a month for pruning peach trees and so far everything is fine. The optical sensor for half-opening the blade makes pruning faster. It has several adjustments, the battery lasts almost two days. As for branches up to 45, it definitely cuts through peach trees, I didn't look for hardness or anything like that, I didn't even use a caliper, the branch just fit inside the blade. So far I am satisfied with the purchase. Maybe the only problem is that its battery is heavier than others, but it has a longer duration. And the greasing process is time-consuming compared to others, but it is easy to do. There are also videos on YouTube by Bahco that show you what you need to do. Professional pruning and use for 8+ hours a day. After two months of work, the blade is quite hard, I cut steel wire and it didn't suffer at all. The cable is short for me, I mean that when holding it with my right hand, I can't switch it to the left. Sometimes you need to do this either to rest your hand or when you are on a ladder to reach other branches. Its battery lasts for 2 days of 8-hour work and still has 10%-20% remaining. It is well-balanced in the hand and doesn't tire you out, there are some others that I have tried, they have more weight in the front part, so it feels like holding a hammer, let's just say that, this one has the weight exactly in the palm.

The 45 mm diameter indeed cuts through some trees, maybe with a little help from the other hand. However, it does not cut through some hard types of wood. It is fast if you learn how to use its programs and it drills easily compared to others that have a piston on the top. The battery has a long duration as a plus! The greasing method is negative compared to others I have seen!

Regarding the BCL22, it is a high-capacity scissors. The specifications of the scissors are to cut branches up to 45mm in diameter with medium hardness. (usage instructions)
For olive branches, which are considered to have high hardness, the cutting capability is lower. Just like a car that has a maximum speed of 200 km/h, it is impossible to reach that speed uphill with 5 passengers.

What I want to emphasize is that in pruning, everything is relative and based on the conditions and the cutting material.
Another important factor is the moisture in the wood, which makes the cutting even more difficult.

I received the scissors on February 5th. I did a full charge according to the instructions and the next day I started for the field. First test on a pomegranate tree: some good cuts on thin branches and suddenly on a 32mm branch (I measured it with a caliper) the scissors don't cut!! And another test, nothing!! The blade goes in about 2mm and stops!!! No matter what I did, on branches over 30mm, it would cut once in ten attempts.

I then tried it on an olive tree (for which it is intended). Same and worse!!! Even on a 23mm branch, the scissors sometimes (very few, e.g. 1 in 10) couldn't cut the branch.

After contacting the purchasing store, I sent it to the service center for inspection as they instructed me. As soon as they received it, they contacted me to inform me that the scissors have absolutely no problem according to the computer inspection. They also sent me a video showing 4 cuts on a branch of about 25-30mm (approximately shown in the video). After receiving it the next day, I started the tests again. Unfortunately, the same thing happened. I recorded a video and sent it to them where the scissors cut the 32mm branch once in ten attempts or not at all, while it cut the 23mm branch ten times and didn't cut once. So, I sent it back to the store on February 13th. The diagnosis is that the scissors do not have the slightest problem and that they cut just fine, according to the tests they conducted and according to BAHCO.

Therefore, the scissors cut SOME types of wood and some they don't. Personally, I don't believe they cut any type of wood over 35mm. The 45mm they advertise is probably for cucumbers.

I received my scissors back today, March 9th.
I would not recommend it, not to a friend, nor to an enemy!!!!
