I would give it 5 stars if it had a slightly lower price and if it was durable.

FULL OF PORTS
The price is high, but after reading reviews on Skroutz and elsewhere, I concluded that it should be purchased. It is perhaps the most complete in terms of ports on the market (1 HDMI, 3 USB, 1 LAN, 1 USB-C, and two card readers).

CONNECTIVITY
In terms of connectivity, it was stable, although as is the case with all devices of this kind, when you add or remove a device, you may need to unplug and replug the dock from the computer to recognize all the ports. I know it's not very practical when you have work in progress, but this is the case with all these devices, at least in docks worth less than 300€.

HEATING
Indeed, it gets very hot, to the point of burning after an hour or intensive use, but this is considered normal for all these devices, especially when they are compact and do not have a built-in ventilation system.

FAULT
The problem that occurred about six months before the warranty expired is that the HDMI port has stopped working, meaning the main port for which it was purchased and used to connect the monitor.

Functionally, it is fine (it reads the source normally), but the connector has recessed inward, making it impossible to plug in the cable.

REPLACEMENT
The store from which it was purchased told me that they will proceed with a replacement, which is very positive because they handled the whole matter professionally and responsibly. I just think that this fault could have occurred a few months later when there was no warranty.

PRICE
I consider the nearly 100€ purchase price to be high, but the price now is better. Unfortunately, there is no better alternative on the market, neither something more expensive, if you are looking for the same portable size and the same functions.

BUILD QUALITY
It has a good finish in the exact same color as the MacBook. Overall, it has very good build quality, it is sturdy, and perhaps the best among all the others you will find here, regardless of the fault that occurred. Nothing lasts forever, just like nothing else lasts forever...

If you want it for professional use, with daily connection/disconnection of the monitor and regular transportation in the MacBook/laptop bag, you may have an issue in the long run. Hope it happens before the warranty expires.
