After the international (and Greek) best seller "Tell Me a Story" and "Stories to Think About", opera editions continue the publication of the works of psychiatrist Jorge Bucay with "Lean on Me", a book that uniquely analyzes the living conditions of modern forty-year-olds who continue - despite their resilient nerves - to seek balance and happiness, struggling with the adversities of everyday life.

The protagonist, known from "Tell Me a Story" (former student) Damian, enters his fifth decade of life carrying a divorce, several problematic relationships, the loss of a beloved father, a demanding and tender sixty-five-year-old mother, a demanding career as a nephrologist, and many friends with different levels of complexity, each. Therefore, the presence of Jorge, - or "Chubby" -, the beloved psychoanalyst who had helped Damian in his youth, is deemed necessary. Only Jorge-Chubby has disappeared...

The book moves along the axis of "Tell Me a Story" in terms of the alternation of dead ends and redemptive stories, but the quests and conclusions differ, adapted to the mature age of the heroes and the conditions of (globalized) modern adult life.
