I have always been a fan of Intel, so why should I buy this piece of junk? A logical person would go for the i7 5960x if they want a top octa-core machine, and it's much more cost-effective. It also has a quad-channel system, unlike the dual-channel system that AMD offers. Team red is the team of the dead..
Kids, the 7th series makes everything simple, it is more for video processing, editing, multi applications, etc. If you want one for gaming, go for the Ryzen 5 3600x
At 230-250 euros, this specific chip is the best. Crazy performance, easy overclocking, and performance that surpasses processors worth much more. Simple and nice.
one of the best processors currently available, and it can only be compared to the 2700X. There's nothing else to say, it's simply unbeatable. Highly recommended for all applications. As for temperatures, it has never reached high temperatures for me, and right now I'm using the wraith prism. Basically, it depends on what cooler you choose and how much your pocket can handle
The processor is very good, perfect for multitasking. I can play games with several open programs and browser in the background without any issues. The temperature slightly increases up to 70 degrees Celsius, but this may also be due to the cooling fan
Excellent processor. The processor is a beast for the money, the best high-performance one. I highly recommend it. Incredible processor, great speeds, plays everything. Stable and reliable operation, high-performance value for money, worth the money. I have used it for heavy tasks (video editing, 3d rendering, gaming) there is nothing more powerful for this price
The best you can get for 250€... In my opinion, if you mainly use the computer for gaming, I would recommend this one over the i7...
Temperatures are incredibly low even with the CPU cooler that comes with the case... So in the future, if you get a good fan, you can easily overclock.
My PC:
Ryzen 1800 (this one)
GTX 1060 6GB
16GB RAM
750W PSU
FPS tests:
PUBG (all settings on ultra) 87-133 fps
Fortnite (all settings on epic) 160-221 fps
Rainbow Six Siege (ultra-high settings) 100-156 fps
We don't even need to discuss LOL and CS:GO.
And generally, there is no game that can't be played on all ultra settings with less than 50 fps...
and above 60 degrees
Top multi thread especially the smt is superior to hyper threading. On the downside, it has low ipc and low single thread speed, not the best overclocking. Requires high speed ddr4 samsung bdie
This processor is carved for high-performance systems and it shows in every possible angle of its use. Definitely the best price for value. Gaming becomes a daily picnic with this CPU and in cooperation with a partially decent system, it is expected to perform brilliantly. However, there is the issue of competitiveness between Intel and AMD. Regarding this, follow the following link: http://www.techradar.com/news/computing-components/processors/intel-vs-amd-which-processor-is-best-936589
I use it for image editing, video editing, and music production while also playing two demanding games. Everything has been great so far, especially in combination with the Asrock Taichi x370. It overclocks pretty well up to 4000mhz at 1.40 vcore, but a 7700 has better single core performance and unfortunately many music applications still rely on that for real-time processing.
The price-quality ratio is the best you can have, I recommend pairing it with a good 3200mhz memory or higher to enhance the infinity fabric and get better performance.
No issues so far, and it seems like I will sell it to get the upcoming Threadripper since AMD seems to be changing the game.
Simply incredible, its price is half compared to the competition it beats in performance.
Due to the popularity of Intel processors, games do not use all the power they have, but the direction of technology points towards 4+..6+ cores, so it is very likely that performance will improve over time, while at the same time the performance of the competition will decrease.
One thing I have to say, I had him and I got the 2700X which I had before and I prefer him!!
The new AMD series is nice. It has more to offer than the old one. The Ryzen7 series doesn't offer anything more than an i7 at the same price, maybe the i7 is even a little better in my opinion. I compared it with the i7-6850K.
The Ryzen5 series is better in terms of price-performance ratio compared to the i5.
For those thinking of investing up to $300 for a processor, choose Ryzen5, for the rest stick with the i7 you already have
