The Switch is the best portable console I have ever bought, but it has one downside - I got the grey version because I had read that the blue joy-con on some Switches were problematic. However, after 1.5 years, the left joy-con stopped working, followed by the right one, so I ended up buying the Pro Controller

I bought it in 2018. I believe it's worth the money, but it has one negative aspect. The joi cons in portable mode had some connectivity issues after 1.5 years.

So, the Nintendo Switch is truly the best console I've ever held in my hands. Now, I'll tell you my story with the Switch. I had a PS4, but my cousin broke it while playing FIFA 19. I tried to fix it, but nothing worked, so I decided to get a Switch. Actually, I wanted to get a PS5, but you know why I didn't. Anyway, to cut the long story short, the Switch is the best console. It may not have 4K or 120fps, but it has its own exclusives that make it the best. That's all I have to say. Have a nice day.

My son wants this console and he tells me it's pretty good! It's a bit expensive but it's worth its money! 32gb may not be a lot but some people don't care much. If you want to play only simple games like the legends of zelda: breath of the wild, super mario, minecraft, etc., get the Nintendo switch lite. The only difference is that the Nintendo switch lite has better battery life because it's 2 years newer. Also, the Nintendo switch lite cannot play super mario party, 1-2 switch, and nintendo labo because it has built-in controllers and not joy-cons with bluetooth like the Nintendo switch. If you want to play these games with the Nintendo switch lite, then you need to buy a pair of joy-cons for 60€ to be able to play them. You need to be careful with the joy-cons because some people say they break easily, and also the SD card that has the games can be lost, so you should also buy a case. (I didn't know how many gb it has, which games it has, or what joy-cons are. My son told me.)

I have had the switch for 2 years now and have owned almost all of the company's consoles over time.
2. It is important to know what to expect and what you want from a machine that is not cheap before purchasing it.
3. You won't buy it for the 8k resolution, 120 fps, or the game pass and "crazy deals" - the AAA games just don't lower their price.
4. You will buy it, however, because the company's games (whether they are from Nintendo or partners) fit your needs and aesthetics and you like them (zelda, mario, etc.).
5. You will buy it because it is by far the best portable gaming device, because it has unique exclusive games, and because it offers you a bigger and wider gaming experience compared to other consoles.

Incredible console! The only negative is that I've had it for exactly 1 year and the left joy con sometimes shakes the camera on its own. It's only happened twice with the right one.

It's perfect!!! It's better and easier to move compared to other consoles. The games are endless and the joy-cons are the best. You can also connect other types of controllers if you want.

A very good console and if you copy a PS4 game to an empty disk like GTA V, you can put it on the Nintendo and play it normally (you can't play the game's online mode)

Nice console. The downside is that it has very limited games, but the graphics are good, especially in Nintendo games. You can play on your TV and take it with you wherever you want the next day. The controllers are expensive and if you're used to PlayStation controllers, they can be a bit difficult to use. On the other hand, it gives you the opportunity to buy a pro controller or connect your play/Xbox controllers to the switch. Even if it only has 32GB, you can easily buy a MICROSD card to add storage space. It has a cheap annual online subscription. In my opinion, it's worth the money. It's definitely a good choice for those who like animation games

For me, it's one of the best consoles ever.
It gives you the comfort of a stable and portable console that hasn't had such flexibility.
Certainly, in cross-platform games, it is disadvantaged in graphics, but even games that you play on the TV and on the go, so you want to give advantages over the competition.
I consider this and a ps4 to be what a gamer wants in this generation of consoles.
For those interested in "breaking" the console, it may have the most flexible applications ever.
Like with a simple internet connection, with an application on the console, you can download games, updates & dlc directly...

Owner of a PS4 and many other consoles in the past. Congratulations only to Nintendo, they still know how to make games that give real meaning to "gameplay". If you want to satisfy your gaming cravings and have a great time alone or with friends, go ahead without fear. The annual online subscription is a pleasant surprise, with only €20 that "gives" you many old favorite games of NES and SNES (Super Mario, Zelda, Ghouls n Ghosts, and many more)

Hey, the best console is. Ok, the ps4 may be a little better but compared to the xbox one it's perfect. The only downside is that after a while the controllers break and go right and left on their own, but I bought a controller for $10 and it's perfect. Anyway, it takes both ps4 and xbox controllers

Most likely, we already know what console we are talking about and all its positives, so I will tell you about its negatives that at least bother me, in order to inform those who are thinking of buying it:
-The controllers are not comfortable if you have big hands
-The games are quite expensive
-You will definitely need a micro sd memory card because the built-in memory fills up quickly
-You may encounter the so-called thumbstick drift, which of course is repaired under warranty
-The screen is made of plastic, so it needs attention not to scratch or to put a glass protection

In my opinion, the best console. It offers a wide variety of games, many ways to play, and excellent quality. When it first came out, I thought that because the concept was similar to the Wii U, Nintendo would fail. However, the Switch has been a tremendous success and deservedly so. I believe the top 3 games are Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, and Breath of the Wild.

So I got the Nintendo Switch when it came out in 2017 at launch and I can say it's one of the best consoles I've had. The game library has variety and includes some of the best indie games and of course the games that Nintendo releases themselves. The graphics are good for a 720p handheld screen and 1080p docked. The only negative thing was the drift in my red controller, but I replaced it. I believe Nintendo has made an excellent console.

As a fan of Nintendo and owner of the console since its release in 2017, I have encountered the following issues:
1. The console bent slightly due to heat and cheap plastic. Thankfully, I didn't use it docked often.
2. When placed in the dock, the console gets scratched.
3. The joy-cons sometimes have connectivity issues.
4. After over two years without warranty (in 2019), both joy-cons started drifting.
5. The battery percentage on the screen is not synchronized with the actual battery level of the console.
6. In handheld mode, due to wear and tear on the clips or joy-cons, holding the switch with my hands causes the joy-cons to come loose and display a constant message of disconnection (in 2020).

I always respect and take care of my belongings. The idea of Nintendo with so many individual components and functions is innovative, but the flaws are not acceptable to this extent!

I believe that the Nintendo Switch is a great gaming console. It has some drawbacks, such as needing a large memory for digital game downloads, the dock scratching the screen, and others. However, it is the first version and I think that the mistakes are justified. I would advise anyone who wants to buy the Switch now not to do so because a new version of the Switch will be released in about a month, which will have a better battery and will fix some of the existing issues

I can say that the price is the only negative personally. I got the Wii U and remembered what a console is and what it should do, so I was in a dilemma between the 3DS or Switch, seeing that it has support and considering Nintendo's correct path, I got it and it's a gem of excellent implementation. The graphics are definitely not PS4, but it's the portability that wins. Take it fearlessly, if it reaches 200 it will be a must buy.

The console is perfect but I discovered something strange in America when the switch came out, it was $299 which is about €260, but in Europe when it came out it was €330.
Something similar happens with the PS4 and Xbox One.

The games are truly unique and the 3rd party offerings here are very strong compared to previous Nintendo consoles.

Its functionality is excellent, the screen is satisfactory, and the controllers are truly amazing.

It's a shame, of course, that we now have to pay for online and for Nintendo consoles, but fortunately the service is quite cheap (only €20 per year).

Very happy and impressed with Nintendo, which is slowly but surely reclaiming the title it so rightfully deserves.

As a console, it is good as a supplement and especially as portable. The range of Nintendo is well-known, if you don't want the games it offers, you don't need to be interested, now for those who are really interested, it may be the best console to date.
