I have had it for 5 months .. I have heard Dolby Atmos from a movie on Netflix and I was amazed .. Simply, this soundbar is ahead of the sound standards we use in our daily lives today .. It is the 6th soundbar I have bought in 4 years (I have spent from 149 euros up to 700 for each one separately, I bought this one for 499) so I believe I have a relatively good comparison measure .. The negatives are that it lacks two surround speakers to hear surround sound .. SO it definitely does not have a complete sound to say that it is top-notch .. (I have researched it on foreign forums and I know from the official LG's answers that it can be connected with the LG H3 Music Flow Wireless NP8340 Multiroom Speaker and other speakers that have LG's music flow) I will try to connect this soundbar with the SPK-8 (small surround speakers with 140 watts) from LG that are made for the newest soundbars .. If the sj-9 does not synchronize with the spk-8, I will sell the sj9 and buy the SK9Y where the spk-8 can be connected. * In the end, the sj9 soundbar does not synchronize with the spk8.

I am the owner of this device for a year now. For TV, movies, and music, it has decent sound and quality for a soundbar, but nothing extremely impressive for atmos. It doesn't achieve the surround and intensity of a home cinema, so whoever wants something more comprehensive, it is an expensive choice. In conclusion, it is a good machine with easy connectivity for everyday use, but not something wow and a bit expensive even on discounts.

Simply amazing, I have heard many soundbars but like this one, I haven't found any. Especially now that you can find it for 500

The most wasted money EVER!!!
I already had the LG HLX-56SLG soundbar since 2012 and buying the SJ9 was supposed to be an upgrade. Never though!!!
Do not waste your money on buying the LG SJ9.
