This volume collects eleven texts that were presented at the Conference "The Publishing of Texts by the Neohellenic Secretariat", which was organized on April 27, 2015 by the Institute of Neohellenic Studies and was dedicated to the memory of Eleni Pachini-Tsantsanoglou (1937-3.1.1995) and Giorgos P. Savvidis (1929-11.6.1995), for the twenty years since their premature death.

One does not need to bring many examples or argue extensively to show that both for the "collective scientific consciousness" and for the wider public, the main quality with which the overall scientific "image" of these two leading philologists was promoted, established and recognized, was and continues to be the quality of a well-trained, once pioneering, but always practical and useful publisher of neohellenic texts, especially literary ones.

The presentations in this volume revolve around the following thematic axes: (a) the publishing work of E. Pachini-Tsantsanoglou and G. P. Savvidis: evaluations and observations, (b) research references to editions/publishing series of neohellenic literature by scientific bodies and organizations, as well as by "commercial" publishing houses, (c) future publishing plans, prospects, and directions: proposals for publishing methods, text editing (linguistic, orthographic, etc.), framing with accompanying material (introduction, comments, glossary and lexical tables, afterword, etc.), preparation of digital and online editions.
