What could a collection of small and larger texts with titles referring to stories of rescue or destruction include? Disruptive narratives about the inner life that is ready to be consumed or flourish. Stories of people expressing intense emotions to distract from decay and absence; burning with desire but unable to meet the other; desiring to escape but remaining trapped and inactive. Stories primarily about coming of age, but also about returning to the harsh world of childhood, where loneliness and emotional deprivation prevail.

In the short prose of "Ketos," the fertile imagination, ignoring the rules of conventional logic, the transformation of individual experience into something unfamiliar or even strange, and the daring images and metaphors seem to maintain, in a way, the virgin gaze with which a child perceives the world. In the longer prose, on the other hand, the description of everyday life, which initially seems familiar, is undermined by an elaborate web of insinuations, as well as by the corrosive power of the poetic, sometimes even the metaphysical element.
