This book is a manual - aid for learning Romanian as a foreign language and is addressed to both Greek students and teachers who teach it.

The manual, as a necessary tool for language learning, during personal study, as well as organized lessons, fills a significant gap in teaching Romanian to Greeks.

This volume is the result of the teaching activities developed by the author over several years within the framework of teaching/learning Romanian as a foreign language at the Department of Balkan Studies of the University of Western Macedonia (Florina).

The book is both a detailed aid in the method "Limba Romana pentru studentii straini" of the University of Bucharest, as well as an autonomous manual that guides the student in learning the Romanian language, and elements of history and culture, as they are found in texts, expressions, and thematic vocabulary.

The selected texts are rich in stylistic variety and constitute authentic material of Romanian culture, while the thematic vocabulary facilitates both the understanding of the semantic field of the topics and the acquisition of communicative and translational skills.
