Did you find this review helpful? After two years of use, the spring on the button to open the lid broke (probably loosened the mechanism, also it is all made of plastic internally!). It doesn't take long for the water to heat up, but it doesn't heat up quickly either. It's not worth the money and in general, I recommend choosing kettles that do not have a button on the handle. I give it 2 stars and that's being generous.

The negatives that I notice are that it takes 2-3 minutes for the water to boil, whereas an older kettle of a different brand and the same power boils faster. The second is that when the water reaches boiling temperature, the outer plastic surface gets quite hot.
