Description

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In the Third Age, the Age of Prophecy, the World and Time hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

Strangers arrive in the Two Rivers during the festival of Bel Tine. In this isolated region, three young boys, Rand al'Thor, Mat Cauthon, and Perrin Aybara, eagerly await the upcoming celebration. The mysterious strangers bring with them strange rumors of a war and a man named Logain, who calls himself the "Dragon Reborn," the man who, according to prophecy, will save the world and then, due to his madness, destroy it. For no one can wield the One Power without losing their sanity completely.
On the eve of Bel Tine, Trollocs attack and pillage the village of the young boys. Accompanied by the mysterious Moiraine and Lan, an even more enigmatic man, the three teenagers, along with some of their companions, escape into the night and head towards Tar Valon, where they realize their unique role in shaping the fate of the entire world. The forces of evil seek them out, determined to hunt them down fiercely, even to the Eye of the World...
