Very cute graphics, Yoshi is adorable.

Easy for kids and the drop-in/drop-out co-op means that a second player can join or leave at any time without affecting the progress of the main player.

Closer to a classic platformer than Yoshi's Woolly World, so if you got bored of that, you will definitely have a better time here. Quite easy for adults, but with multiple paths and things to unlock to keep you entertained for hours. Yoshi's costumes, for example, made me want to collect them.

At the right price, I think you shouldn't ignore it.

For its price, it is definitely an excellent choice for fans of the genre and LEGO, it is not a big risk.

But overall, it didn't impress me as much as I expected. It has enough freedom, but not as much as Minecraft, which let's be honest, was the target. It has relatively easy controls and objectives, but it is much weirder than traditional LEGO games - my nieces, who play a lot of LEGO games, couldn't grasp it so easily. Therefore, I believe it is not aimed at young children as much as it is aimed at older kids or at least kids who play with an older person for guidance.

On the positive side, the overall presentation is really good, with LEGO integrated into every aspect of a large world. Exploration, things to do, it has a bit of everything. I hope this was a first attempt and in the future we will see a truly free LEGO game with such a philosophy.

In a few words, it's X-COM in a new suit. A highly entertaining turn-based tactics game, with team management, equipment, abilities, and all the related elements you expect from the genre. So, don't be fooled by its appearance: it's a surprising game that I didn't expect to captivate me so much.

Very good single-player campaign, satisfying multiplayer, and excellent gameplay. Plenty of humor and a very nice design, friendly for all ages, and although it can become complex in its more advanced systems, it is not inaccessible for younger ages. Among the highly commendable and original games on the Switch, I believe it should not be missing from anyone's shelf!
