[...] If we were to divide, editorially, the presence of Alkis Thrilos into two periods, we would have the period from 1915 to 1928, and the period from 1961 to 1971 (the year of his death), a period during which, after long hesitation, he himself would take care of the collection and classification of his texts, which would be published during this time in many volumes. For the second, editorial, period of Alkis Thrilos, there is no need for a separate mention, as it is referred to in the entirety of the reviews collected in this volume. [...]
It is not excluded that the significance of his work was ultimately damaged, because for forty whole years, he refused to publish any of his books. And the consecutive accumulation of volumes within a decade (starting with "Conversations with Myself" in 1961, until his death in 1971), did not allow this volume to breathe normally in the years that followed. The book "Criticism for Alkis Thrilos" attempts to restore, or rather clarify, the "injustice" he caused to himself and to bring him back, if not into the book market, at least into the consciousness of some passionate lovers of the literary and artistic phenomenon in general. [...].
