Good product. It does what it promises. The only negative thing is that the radio at the lowest volume is quite loud if you're sleeping.
It would be very good if it didn't make noise when it's not in operation. But it's in the process! The worst thing for sleep! Unacceptable!
After 3 years of use, it loses 2-3 minutes every 15 days and requires resetting! The buttons are not convenient as they do not protrude and you cannot easily stop the alarm! Overall, a difficult and unreliable clock-alarm. Not recommended.
The biggest flaw of it is that it buzzes!! I thought I was the only one, but I saw that someone else mentioned it too. It's a manufacturing issue, because if you press it from the top, it stops.. for a while! It emits a high frequency (always closed) which as we know, older people cannot hear, so for those around 65+, it is not a flaw..
The second flaw is that after a while, it started losing minutes..
Personally, not only would I not buy it again.
The sound on the alarm clock does not have a fade in and is very loud even at level 1. The buttons are not tactile and you have to search for them while you are still asleep.
The lighting is ideal. I don't use the alarm clock, I like to listen to the radio in the mornings in the bedroom......
The downside is that it doesn't save the stations in its memory. Except for one......
After four days, it broke on the last digit or top line. I sent it back and they repaired it.
It's great! With two brightness options for the screen, radio with presets and volume control. And I would say it's aesthetically pleasing. It will take minimal time to set it up, but you quickly understand how it works.
As someone else has said, the alarm clock does not work with batteries, the batteries are only for maintaining the settings. For example, if the power goes out at night and comes back on before the wake-up time, everything is fine. But if it doesn't come back on, you will wake up when the sun is already up. Also, this means that you cannot take it with you to a place without electricity.
The sound is loud - it wakes you up. Sturdy construction. The sound on the radio is sharp and borderline annoying (without bass and with a lot of treble). It sounds like a last resort solution and not a pleasant one.
On the downside: the hour-minute and alarm buttons only go in one direction, so if you make a mistake, for example, in the time, you have to go all the way to the end to find the correct one again. Also, the snooze duration (9 minutes) cannot be changed. The buttons are not visible in the dark (for this alarm clock, it is not necessarily a bad thing as it forces you to wake up).
Without regretting it (I bought it to have two alarms), I would not buy it again.
The batteries are only used to store settings, such as time, saved stations, alarm time, etc. However, it does not function as an alarm clock solely with the batteries, meaning it will not go off during a power outage. This should be clarified better in the product description, as I preferred it believing that it functions as an alarm clock only with the batteries.
Other than that, it has a sturdy construction, with features that most radio clocks have, and at a good price. I have had it for a few days, so I reserve judgment for the future.
Positive: Very good radio alarm clock, with brightness adjustment (intense-soft), 2 independent alarm sounds/radio, 12/24-hour time display and 20 FM stations. With 2 AA batteries, you don't lose anything during power outages. The speaker is loud and you can set the alarm volume to 1-2, so it doesn't give you a heart attack :-) . One thing for sure is that the photos don't do it justice, because it looks like a square box, but in reality, it has a slanted front and a white square frame around it, which makes it very elegant (search for photos of it on the internet).
Negative: The buttons are completely flat with the body and in the dark, you can't find them to change the stations or the volume (you can solve this by sticking raised labels on them). Also, the presets have a button that only increases and lacks a button to decrease, so if you are on station 5 and want to go to 4, you will have to go all the way to 20 and then start again from 1 to reach 4.
Conclusion: If the negatives don't bother you, get it without hesitation, it is worth every penny, as it is a very good brand at an excellent price.
