In this collection of 91 essays from the third edition, which thematically continues in part the author's biographical dictionary titled "Great Maestros", various aspects of the classical music reality in Greece today are examined, with references to relevant discography and videography.

Emphasis is given to musical events and manifestations directly or indirectly related to this reality, in the presentation of important orchestral ensembles as well as new and promising archmusicians of the international scene, but also in anniversaries (important events or obituaries) related to significant musical personalities of Greece and abroad in our days. Also, in the unique official state agency for the transmission and promotion of classical music in Greece, the Third Program of the Hellenic Radio.

This contribution, which is enriched with essays recording certain personal views and comments of the author (such as, for example, the widespread presence in our days, but usually unsuccessful, of interpretations even of works from the classical and post-classical repertoire with period instruments ensembles), aims to attract the interest of readers - especially the younger generations - to the movement of classical music, this so important expression of artistic development in Greece, where in recent years a hopeful and more systematic engagement of more and more musicologists and other researchers and scholars has begun for the enrichment of the relevant literature.
